I testify there is no deity but Allah;
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; Jesus is the messenger of Allah, and the Holy Quran is Allah’s last
revelation to mankind.
“He is Allah, the one and only; Allah,
the Eternal, Absolute; He begets not, nor is He begotten; and there is none
like Him.” (112:1-4)
“Allah, there is no deity except Him, the
Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him
nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the
earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows
what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not comprehend
any of His knowledge except for what He wills. His throne extends over the
heavens and the earth; it does not weary Him to preserve them both. And He is
the Most High, the Most Great.” (2:255)
“He is Allah: there is no other god other
than Him. It is He who knows what is
hidden as well as what is in the open; He is the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of
Mercy.
“He is Allah: there is no other god other
than Him, the Controller, the Holy One, Source of Peace, Granter of Security,
Guardian over all, the Almighty, the Compeller, the Truly Great; Exalted is
Allah above whatever they associate with Him.
“He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator,
the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Everything in the heavens and
earth glorifies Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” (59:22-24)
Glory to you Allah and praise; blessed is
your name and Exalted is your Majesty.
There is none worthy of worship but You.
“Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and
those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate
amongst each other. You see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer),
seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their
marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the
Torah; and their similitude in the Gospel is like a seed, which sends forth its
blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own
stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the
Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe
and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.” (48:29)
“He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad],
the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and
the Gospel before, as guidance for the people. And He revealed the Quran.”
(3:3-4)
Jesus is a messenger of Allah. “We sent Jesus, son of Mary, in their
footsteps, to confirm the Torah that had been sent before him: We gave him the Gospel with guidance, light
and confirmation of the Torah already revealed – a guide and lesson for those
who take heed of Allah.” (5:46)
The Quran is Allah’s last revelation to
mankind. “This is the Book about which
there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah. Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer,
and spend out of what We have provided for them, And who believe in what has
been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of
the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are
the successful.” (2:2-5)
“Nor
could this Quran have been devised by anyone other than Allah. It is a confirmation of what was revealed
before it and an explanation of Scripture.
Let there be no doubt about it, it is from the Lord of the Worlds.”
(10:37)
“Praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the
worlds, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy, Master of the Day of
Judgment. It is You we worship; it is
You we ask for help. Guide us to the
straight path: the path of those You
have blessed, those who incur no anger and who have not gone astray.” (1:2-7)
